What Would Be the Nature of This Exam?
The CSIR NET will be computer-based. You must answer multiple-choice questions over a duration of 3 hours without a break in between. The paper will be bilingual though presented equally in Hindi and English, with three equally important parts.

The fee aspiring candidates would have to pay varies based on their category:
- General – Rs 1150
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS – Rs 600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender – Rs 325

- Recent passport-size photograph
- Signature
- Class certificates and mark sheets
